Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Gynecologist WordPress Theme.. This documentation will help you install the theme, import the demo, customize your website, and manage all website content without any coding knowledge.

The theme is fully responsive, SEO-friendly, Elementor compatible, and built following WordPress coding standards.

System Requirements

Before installing the theme, make sure your hosting supports:

  • PHP 7.4 or Higher (PHP 8.x Recommended)
  • MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB
  • WordPress Latest Version
  • HTTPS (SSL Certificate Recommended)

    • Installing WordPress

  • Purchase Hosting & Domain.
  • Install WordPress from your hosting control panel.
  • Login to your Dashboard.

    • Installing the Theme

  • Go to
  • Dashboard → Appearance → Themes
  • Click-Add New → Upload Theme → Upload → gynecologist.zip
  • Click → Install Now → Activate

    Required Plugins

    After activating the theme, a notification will appear asking you to install the required plugins.

    1. Click Begin Installing Plugins.
    2. Select all plugins.
    3. Install.
    4. Activate.

    Import Demo Content (One Click Demo Import)

  • Go to →Appearance → Import Demo Data → Click → Import Demo
  • Do not refresh the page during the import process.
  • After importing:

    • Theme Customizer

    Set Home Page

  • Go to → Settings → Reading → Selectbr
    A Static Page → Choose → Home
    Posts Page → Blog Save →Changes.

    • Set Permalinks

  • Go to → Settings → Permalinks → Select → Post Name
    Click → Save Changes.

    • Upload Site Logo

  • Go to → Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
    Upload → Site Logo → Site Icon (Favicon) → Click Publish.

    • Create Navigation Menu

  • Go to → Appearance → Menus → Create your menu. → Assign Menu tobr
    Primary Menu → Save Menu.

    • Customize Header

  • Go to →Appearance → Customizebr
  • From here you can customize

    • Change About Doctor Content

    Navigate to:

    Dashboard → About Doctor

    You can update:

    • Doctor Name
    • Degree
    • Current Position
    • Visiting Hours
    • Mobile Number

    • Hospital Name
    • Hospital Website
    • Hospital Address
    • Emergency Hotline
    • Email Address
    • Education
    • Specialization

    Services

    Dashboard → Services

    Add unlimited medical services including icon, title and description.

    Photo Gallery

    Dashboard → Images

    Upload unlimited gallery images using Featured Images.

    Video Gallery

    Dashboard → Videos

    Add:

    • Video Title
    • YouTube Video URL

    Videos automatically appear on the Gallery page.

    Blog

    Create blog posts using the default WordPress editor.

    Contact Form & Appointment

  • This theme uses Contact Form 7.
  • Go to → Contact → Contact Forms → Create or edit your
    → Copy the generated shortcode.→ Now go to →Dashboard → Form Settings
    → Paste the Contact Form 7 shortcode. → Save Changes.
  • The contact form will now appear on the website.

    • Appointment Form

  • Visitors can submit appointments directly from the website.
  • Every appointment request is automatically sent to the administrator's email.

    Contact Messages

  • When visitors submit the Contact Form, the message is automatically sent to the administrator's email.
  • Please configure SMTP using WP Mail SMTP to ensure reliable email delivery.

    • Featured Images

  • Every page and post should have a Featured Image for better appearance.
    • they are automatically saved as Draft. Go to

    Reviews

    Dashboard → Reviews
  • Review the submitted content.
  • they are automatically saved as Draft.
  • Click Publish after approval.
  • Only published reviews will appear on the website.

    • Create and manage patient reviews easily.

    Appearance → Menus
    • Primary Menu

    Google Map

    Dashboard → Google Map

    Paste your Google Maps Embed iframe code.

    Homepage Setup

    The homepage is built using custom Elementor widgets included with the theme. To recreate the homepage, follow the steps below:

    1. Create a new page named Home.
    2. Select the Elementor Full Width or your preferred page template.
    3. Click Edit with Elementor.
    4. Drag and drop the custom widgets provided by the theme.

    After creating the page, navigate to:

    Dashboard → Settings → Reading

    Set Your homepage displays to A static page and select the newly created Home page as the Homepage.

    Theme Colors

    You can change your website colors from:

    • Appearance → Customize
    • Pages → Edit with Elementor

    Typography

    Fonts and text styles can be changed through Elementor.


    Buttons

    All buttons can be edited using Elementor.


    Images

    Replace any image by selecting the image widget and uploading a new one.


    Backup

    It is recommended to back up your website regularly before making major changes or updates.


    Update Theme

    Before updating the theme:

    • Always create a complete backup of your website.
    • Upload the latest theme version.
    • Replace the old version with the new one.

    Troubleshooting

    Demo Import Not Working

    • Install and activate all required plugins.
    • Increase the PHP Memory Limit.
    • Increase the Maximum Execution Time.
    • Contact your hosting provider if the problem continues.

    Contact Form Not Sending Email

    • Install and configure WP Mail SMTP.
    • Verify that your SMTP settings are correct.

    Images Not Showing

    Go to:

    • Settings → Permalinks
    • Click Save Changes.

    Elementor Widgets Missing

    • Activate all required plugins.
    • Refresh Elementor.
    • Clear your website and browser cache.

    SEO Recommendations

    • Use descriptive page titles.
    • Add meta descriptions.
    • Optimize images.
    • Publish quality blog posts.
    • Use relevant keywords.
